Return Vehicle Checklist

Turn in my vehicle:

Inspect the vehicle yourself for excess wear before you return it. (Use our Wear Tool to help determine extent of damage.) If it shows excess wear, you can:

  • Arrange to have it repaired;
  • Turn it in as is and have us bill you for it.

Compare your current kilometres against what are allowed on your lease agreement. If your current kilometres are greater, you’ll have to pay for the excess.

Contact your local GM or Subaru dealer to arrange to turn in your vehicle

When you return your vehicle, please bring the following:

  • A copy of your lease agreement
  • All original equipment, including keys, keyless entry remotes, DVD player, headphones, DVD remote, etc.
  • All documents you received at the beginning of the lease, including the owner’s manual and maintenance guide
  • The vehicle’s registration certificate

While at the dealership, be sure to complete a lease termination report to document current mileage

Contact us at 1-800-616-4622 (GMAC Leaseco accounts) or 1-800-517-4622 (Subaru accounts) to tell us when and where you returned your vehicle. In the market for a new vehicle? Ask your dealer about Ally Buyer's Choice.

Keep my vehicle:

Arrange for Ally financing with your dealership to buy your leased vehicle. Or pay by cash.
